The Eiffel Tower truly stole the show during my first visit to Paris. Ever since I was a child, I dreamt of standing in front of this iconic structure. It was truly mind-boggling to grasp the fact that I was standing right next to this amazing landmark. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to go up the tower on my first trip, but I made sure to prioritise it on my next visit. The breath-taking views from the top of the tower, which stands at 275m, left me speechless. I highly recommend making this unique experience a top priority for your trip no matter how long you are there for. To avoid long queues, I suggest pre-booking your tickets, but trust me, the wait is completely worth it anyway. If you’re up for the challenge, you can even take the stairs for part of the climb to the second floor. The panoramic views from the top are simply breath-taking. And here is a little tip for you – if you happen to be in the vicinity on the first of the month, you can actually go up for free! If not, tickets start from approximately €15 (EUR) per person. So, make sure to add this gem to your itinerary.

Disneyland Paris

I can’t help but share my last unforgettable experience at Disneyland Paris. A place that truly lives up to its reputation as one of the happiest places on earth. No matter your age, there’s something magical waiting for you here. To make the most of your visit, remember to book your tickets in advance, opt for a weekday visit if possible, and arrive at least 30 minutes before the gates open to beat the crowds. Staying at a hotel outside the park can also help you save some money without compromising convenience. I stayed at a hotel just one stop away from the Disneyland park and found it to be a great choice that didn’t break the bank. If you have an extra day, consider splitting your time between Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios for a well-rounded experience. Remember to pack some snacks to save on food costs, and be sure to catch all the amazing rides, the ultimate castle and fireworks for a truly magical ending to your day. Enjoy every moment! Ticket prices can range from €55 (EUR) onwards, depending on the day of your visit and the number of parks you plan to explore. Among my top recommendations is the renowned JJ Beaumarchais, a restaurant that offers a delightful 4 or 6 course dining experience. Prepare to be amazed as you savor two delectable entrees, two mouth-watering main dishes, and two heavenly desserts. The attentive staff will even take the time to explain the intricate ingredients that make up each dish, enhancing your enjoyment. While the price tag of €60 (EUR) may deter some, I assure you that the experience is worth every penny. You’ll leave the restaurant feeling utterly content and satisfied with your choices. If you’re interested, definitely consider booking in advance, as the bookings can run out quickly.

After enjoying a fantastic evening enjoying local cuisine, there’s another hidden gem waiting for you just around the corner. A charming and distinctive cocktail bar with a twist awaits you in Paris, the city fortunate enough to host speakeasies. Curious about what speakeasy bars are? Then you must pay a visit to the Mobster Bar. Personally, I adore this enigmatic and exclusive venue, tucked away from prying eyes. Oh, and don’t forget, you’ll need to crack a riddle before gaining entry. Best of luck!
