My homeland - the land of the long white cloud. From Auckland's vibrant city life to Queenstown's adventure capital, pristine Coromandel beaches to the sacred Cape Reinga lighthouse.
Being my homeland, I must admit I am a little biased, even though I no longer reside there. Usually, exploring your own country requires a significant amount of time and effort because many travellers want to explore other parts of the world first and assume there will always be time for their homeland later. Regrettably, I do feel that I did not dedicate enough time to uncover the hidden gems of my own backyard before departing. I genuinely hope that someday I will make the effort to explore the captivating wonders of my home country.
